This Calrad 95-1046-S1 Audio-IR-Data Pigtail Balun is ideal for residential, corporate A/V, schools, home theater applications and any other situation involving structured audio distribution that transmits stereo audio signals via Cat.5e/6 UTP cable. This Balun provides a low cost and versatile UTP cabling solution for any analog audio distribution system. Each audio channel transmission signal is completely isolated with transformer based circuitry from start to finish eliminating any issues with ground loops or audio 60hz hums. The balun also has a single 3.5mm IR signal path for bi-directional signal communication and also a cable pair for data-control communication that supports RS232, RS422, RS485. Easy bi-directional connectivity either balun can act as a transmitter or receiver. Use standard pre-made Cat5e, Cat6 cables or terminate your own cabling using the 568A standard start to finish or the 568B standard start to finish. Distances of up to 250ft., see detailed specifications below. Please Note! All 4 pairs \ 8 conductors of the RJ45 connector are used and no spare connectivity is available.

Calrad 40-7110 Active VGA/Component Video over Cat 5e Kit
Calrad's high-resolution baluns for VGA or Component video over Cat5e/Cat6 can extend stereo audio and video signals up to 1,000 feet using a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. The receiver has built-in active equalization circuitry providing adjustments of Gain\Peak levels for different lengths of cable. This technology is a perfect and reliable solution for situations where your VGA\HDTV monitor needs to be located in a separate location from where the VGA\HDTV source is located. Cat6 UTP cables can be used but may cause skewing of signal pairs at certain resolutions. This balun does not do any video transcoding only the same signal type in\out. The HDMI Extender allows a high-definition display to be located up to 100ft away from a high-definition source using two UTP cables. It is fully HDCP compliant and adheres to HDMI High Speed specification for passing high definition video and audio signals, supports resolutions of 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. The receiver module has a 3.5mm jack for external IR receivers and the transmitter module has two IR 3.5mm emitter ports for easy IR extender applications.
