Used in conjunction with any tone generator, this Greenlee Tone Probe Amplifier permits wire and cable identification without having to make direct metallic contact with the conductor.
The 200EP-G has a powerful speaker for noisy environments, recessed on/off button control and high gain for accurate wire identification in congested cable bundles and equipment rooms.
Transmitter and receiver are equipped with female F-type connectors and provide both audible and LED test and tone indications. Optional adapter test leads allow 402K use on distribution cables as well as wire pairs or signal conductors. User defined tone output allows up to four 402T Toner units to be used simultaneously for tracing multiple cable runs.
As a continuity tester, the 402K provides both audible tone and LED display to indicate resistance levels and identifies the presence of AC or DC voltage on the cable under test. The newly-designed 402R receiver provides three methods of signal reception:
The 402K CATV Cable Tone Test Kit consists of one transmitter, one receiver, one male F-to-F connector adapter, one male F-to-alligator clip adapter cable and the rugged 700C Carrying Case (also available separately.)

Allows you to build your own kit using any tone generator and 200 Series probe.
The 77GX Tone Generator incorporates a host of features including microprocessor controlled circuitry for increased reliability, three selectable tone outputs for multiple line identification, two-line polarity indication for fast outlet checks and selectable power outputs for use on open or shorted pairs. The 200GX Inductive Amplifier features a simple, one-button operation and comfortable, ergonomic design. The adjustable volume control, LED visual signal strength indication, and powerful speaker make the 200GX ideal for noisy environments. To provide a single solution for the professional - Tempo's 711K Professional Tone and Probe Kit combining the 77GX Tone Generator and 200GX Inductive Amplifier in a rugged carrying case.
711K Includes:
77GX Tone Generator
200GX Inductive Amplifier
Rugged, woven polyester 700C Dual Carrying Case
The TEMPO Communications 801K Tone and Probe Kit comprises the 77HP/6A High Power Tone Generator and the 200FP Inductive Amplifier in a rugged woven polyester carrying case. The 801K represents the top-of-the range in wire and cable identification. When first turned on the 200FP is in the normal tone probe mode, detecting and playing most voice frequency signals. With a short press of the control button the probe enters the filtered mode, eliminating the hum and buzz created by light fixtures and power lines.
1.2 x 2.25 x 2.5, 24" test leads, 4.5 oz. w/battery
Latching feature identifies intermittent failures (swingers) and confirms operation of switches at remote locations. In latching mode, the Loop Verifier will catch the alarm condition and continue until the tester is reset.
As a tone generator, this Loop Verifier provides a traditional variable tone that can be applied using the 24" red & black test leads or 6-position modular plug, included. The magnetic, back plate allows convenient mounting directly to control panel cabinets & doors.

The Greenlee RMT-1 Metal tips provide maximum performance when probing insulated wires or making direct metallic contact.
Tempo RMT-1 - Greenlee RMT-1 - Progressive RMT-1
Like our tone generators, Tempo's inductive amplifiers are recognized as industry standards by field service professionals. Used in conjunction with any of our tone generators, the units permit wire and cable identification without having to make direct metallic contact with the conductor. Powerful receiver gain permits accurate identification in even the most congested cable bundles and equipment rooms. Other features include a powerful, two-inch speaker, which eliminates the need for additional buttsets or headsets, a unique, blended, carbon compound tip that reduces conductivity - minimizing the risk of shorting terminals without sacrificing performance - and a recessed on/off push button control. A spare duckbill tip is included.
The 200B Inductive Amplifier can also be used with the nickel-plated brass probe tips.
1.125 x 2.125 x 9", 5.5 oz w/batt
The 200FP Inductive Amplifier offers the same exceptional qualities as Model 200B, plus an adjustable volume control for more precise identifi-cation when tone signal "bleed" is affecting the identification process, and recessed tabs for buttset or headset connections. In addition, an added LED for visual signal strength indication.
