This unit is part of a large HDTV video distribution ECO system with up to 100 independent HDTV 1080P channels. Works with additional Calrad 40-101T Gen3 (QAM) Transmitters and with additional Calrad 40-101R (QAM) Receivers. Calrad has developed a simple expandable 1080p video delivery system with control signals over coax, Cat5e or Cat6 cabling with distances up to over 2,000 ft.. The technology can also support existing legacy wiring such as standard shielded audio, composite, component, HDMI cables using specific inline adapters for each cable type. Once connected the HDMI transmitter and receiver can connect a source to a display that can be totally independent from each other or multiple 40-101 units can be used providing signals upstream and downstream from each other, bidirectionally over the same wiring. Each transmitter and receiver can be IR controlled individually from a 3rd party automation control system or Calrad's Xcontrolled automation system or by a local individual IR receiver from a local remote (Included). Easy setup, set transmitters and receivers to independent channels manually on the front panel using the up/down push buttons or use a automated control system to maximize the flexibility using 100 channels between transmitters and receiver. Supports CATV digital splitters and amplifiers.

The Calrad 40-130 provides the ability to easily rack mount Calrad's "U" based chassis, for example hardware like our QAM 40-100, 40-101 series QAM devices and 2 Wire HDMI devices. Our high speed balanced circuitry design for signal delivery is not polarity sensitive and can be wired terminal to terminal or reversed. A HDMI loop output is provided on the transmitter, eliminating the need for a separate HDMI splitter, this HDMI output allows the signal to pass on to 3rd party hardware. Easily send RS232 signals bi-directionally using a 3 position removable terminal block, that can be wired for one way or two way, (Full Duplex) communication. With the 40-204 many different types of cabling can be used to communicate between the transmitter and receiver providing a lot of flexibility solving complicated wiring issues for each type of installation. New or legacy wiring is possible without the worry of shielded or unshielded cables. Signals can easily be sent over Cat3; Cat5e; Cat6; RG59; RG6; Telephone Cable; Audio-Video Cable; Speaker Cable; Alarm Cable; Low voltage power cable. Reliable signal transmission up to 1,000 ft., signal length may vary based on the quality and wire gauge of the cable used. A single transmitter can send signals to 4 separate receivers using part number 40-206 4 port 2 wire splitter.

Calrad 40-206 | 1080P (2 Wire 4 Port Signal Splitter): This splitter uses small terminal block connectivity to distribute 2 Wire signals, provides a simple method of connecting a single 40-204 2 Wire transmitter to four 40-204 2 Wire Receivers for signal distribution. In specific configurations and shorter distances, up to six 40-204 Receivers may be connected to the 40-206 Splitter. Ports 1-4 are for standard connectivity, ports 5-6 expansion ports are available for specific configurations, please consult Calrads tech support for further details. Easily mounts with double stick adhesive tape, (Included) or easily attached to wiring harnesses or rack hardware by using cable ties.
The Calrad 40-300 series HDMI over IP provides 1080P HD video signals over UTP network cabling. Many configurations are possible, 1.) Between a single transmitter and receiver directly without a network switch. 2.) Use multiple transmitters and receivers over an existing or separate network to create a small to large scaleable video distribution system. Up to 56 channels are possible. Using standard network switches can be used with existing networks and internet, if more than 3 transmitters are used on a 100Mb system, it is advisable to use specific 1Gb IGMP network switches to manage the signal bandwidth properly for new or existing installations. Transmitter ID addresses are easily selectable using the front panel 6 position dip switch. Receiver channel addresses are accessible by using a 12 button credit card size remote control only, to change channel addresses. Use the up down keys or direct channel address keys 0-9 to change to the desired channel. Two interface adapter cables are included for 3rd party home automation control. A full duplex bi-directional RS232 port is available for easy serial communication between devices. Easily create a virtual matrix switcher over IP with unlimited possibilities. A HDMI signal loop-output on the Transmitter is provided for continuous signal transmission to other devices.

Calrad 40-1091 HDMI Balun Over Single Cat5e Adapter Converter
This Calrad HDMI Balun is a small and innovative HDMI Converter Adapter Balun over One UTP category 5e / 6 cable with HDBaseT classification technology for an extend solution over 70m/230ft; use for small projects that may not need the full feature set of HDBaseT yet still benefit from the signal stability and functions offered by the powerful technology. This 40-1091 adapter is a perfect solution for replacing costly standard HDMI cables that are difficult to route thru wall and cabinets. One Cat5e, Cat6 wire using RJ45 terminations deliver digital signals & IR from the transmitter to the receiver. A small class 2 power from the HDMI source is not sufficient.
