Calrad's 40-284A is a simple solution for converting HDMI signals to VGA video & audio. It is a perfect solution for connecting video cards [desktop or laptop] or consumer electronics devices such as game consoles or home theater receivers that offer an HDMI Out port to a VGA display. The HDMI to VGA video & audio is a Plug-N-Play video converter that automatically provides instant decoding of the HDMI signals to VGA video & audio signals to facilitate the viewing of HDTV video content on televisions, projectors, RF modulators or other devices that do not have HDMI inputs. Power is supplied by the HDMI Source.

The Calrad 40-HDMI-EXT-A provides a simple method for extracting digital or analog audio from a single HDMI source at up to resolutions of 4Kx2K@60Hz. Outputs for Analog (L+R) analog, Digital optical Toslink + Coaxial audio signals. Supports (ARC) function, decodes to Toslink\Digital Coaxial outputs only. A three position slide switch and push button are provided for selecting audio functions and audio output formats. This unit supports (Non-Volatile Memory) if power is lost or removed the unit will maintain all settings.

This Balun provides a low cost and versatile UTP cabling solution for any analog audio distribution system. Each audio channel transmission signal is completely isolated with transformer based circuitry from start to finish eliminating any issues with ground loops or audio 60hz hums. This Calrad IR repeater system extends IR (Infrared) remote control signals from one location to another. The IR receiver is typically located on a TV display and receives IR signals from remote controls up to maximum of 33 ft. and re-transmits them to the 6 Port IR distribution block. The 6 x standard IR emitter ports re-transmits the IR signals to multiple pieces of individual equipment using 3 x dual non-flashing IR emitters. This 92-180A IR distribution block requires a 12Vdc power supply (included) or can work through the optional USB type �B� port on 5Vdc, See Diagram 1A below for typical configuration and hookup.
